How long does each quarterly review take?+
Typically 4-6 hours of engineering time. We deliver the report within 3 business days of starting. The report covers all items from the initial audit, checking for drift.
What if you find issues during the review?+
Minor issues (permissions drift, missed backup rotation) are fixed during the review at no extra cost. Major issues (new unencrypted data store, security breach) are flagged with remediation recommendations and quoted separately.
Can we start without having done the initial audit first?+
We recommend the GDPR Technical Audit (CR-GDPR-01) first to establish a baseline. The quarterly review then checks against that baseline. Without a baseline, the first quarterly review becomes a mini-audit.
Do you check our SaaS vendor compliance too?+
We verify that your DPA (Data Processing Agreements) with SaaS vendors are still valid and that their stated compliance certifications haven't expired. Deep vendor audits are a separate service (CR-SOC-07).
