Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need CR-GDPR-09 (audit) first?+
Recommended but not required. If you have your own list of systems, we work from that. Without an audit, risk is that some access points are missed because they weren't on your list.
What about shared passwords the employee knew?+
We rotate all shared credentials the employee had access to: Wi-Fi passwords, shared admin accounts, API keys in team vaults. This is the most commonly missed step in offboarding.
Can you do this same-day for urgent terminations?+
Yes. For emergency same-day revocation, see CR-GDPR-14 ($149) which handles the critical accounts first (email, cloud, VPN, code repos) within hours.
Do you handle email forwarding and mailbox access?+
Yes. We disable the email account, remove forwarding rules, and either archive the mailbox for the manager or delete it per policy. We also check for delegated access and shared mailboxes.
What evidence do we get for auditors?+
A timestamped log documenting every action: system, action taken, timestamp, operator. This satisfies GDPR Article 5(1)(f), NIS2, ISO 27001 A.6.5, and SOC 2 CC6.3 evidence requirements.
