Modern computer systems provide access to data by means of forms. It is often required to grant access to form creation and modification directly to end-user. This is the way to lower system's maintenance costs and to achieve higher exploitation quality. To fit these business requirements a new product Form Builder was created in our laboratories.

Form Builder is a software module, which is linked with an existing on-line system as an additional tool. The fact that Form Builder is a Flash application, it doesn't require installation on client's computer and is loaded directly from server on invocation.

Form Builder provides a rich toolbox of instruments and components to create and modify complex forms. The forms are stored on server in XML format. On execution the forms are automatically converted to HTML readable by all modern web-browsers. Next versions of Form Builder will be able to export XForms (a new W3C standard for on-line forms) as XForms support is expected in new browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox 1.1.
